Wayne Pinder
Wayne Pinder was born in Trinidad and Tobago, where he lived most of his life; he was a Teacher at Malick Secondary School, where he helped mold the minds and skills of young people. He was the Head of the Department in his area before migrating to the United States. While his background may appear unconnected, his views on life did not emerge from it but from his experience of an ailment known as sleep paralysis.

Where did your ideas of existence come from?
When I was young, I suffered from sleep paralysis. A condition where you are awake but don’t have control or possession of your body, which led me to conclude that there is another part of us.
What purpose did you have for writing this book?
Existence is something we ponder about, but it often needs a starting point of focus. I am trying to sell you the idea that you are two parts, one with the ability to travel the universe. Spaceships are for those who see us as matter only.
